Goods received used, batteries with corrosion

The box was open, the probe was without additional packaging, clearly used, they didn't even try to clean it. Batteries were corroded.

WITHOUT BATTERIES

This sensor is supplied without batteries. There is no way to use it without batteries. There is no indication in the literature that batteries are not included.

Inexpensive alternative to the Tracer Pocket Tester.

I purchased this unit after realizing that the Tracer Pocket Tester that I have used for years continues to increase in value. Thought I'd give it a try and see if it works for my professional use. I've had it for a few months now and I have to say I'm very glad I took the risk. All I did was an initial calibration and it still gives me accurate readings and it was as reliable/accurate as a tracer for 1/3 the cost. I will buy more.
