High Hopes Dashed by Ineffective Cleaner

This "Alcohol Free ScreenKleen" promised an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional screen cleaners, but my analysis of this product showed that it simply does not work well. While it may be safer for household use, it's simply not effective at removing smudges and fingerprints from screens. Health-conscious consumers may appreciate the lack of alcohol, but it ultimately falls short as a household cleaning solution.

Pros
  • Alcohol-free and environmentally friendly
Cons
  • Not effective at removing smudges and fingerprints

Leaves streaks on all-purpose cleaners

This leaves streaks on my computer monitor. I tried four times to get rid of them with more of these cleaners but they always left streaks. They are also quite expensive. I go back to wiping with a microfiber cloth sprayed with Windex.

Pros
  • household goods
Cons
  • old

It just doesn't work.

This isn't as big a problem as it might seem, because cloths, even wet ones, just don't work. I tried them on my computer screen and on my 46 inch TV screen. Cloths collect dust, but they do little more than clean screens.

Pros
  • Household Chemicals
Cons
  • Drill Kit
