I have the original eyes and love the new additions. The eyelash comb is great. The bristles are fine enough to break up clumps without ruining the mascara. The rest of the brushes have been updated, more practical versions of the old ones. I would still recommend having both. Also, I love that it comes with a mug instead of that stupid clamshell holder.

I really like RealTechniques brushes. I buy them often. These are high quality brushes. The kit I bought (Improved Eye Kit) was basically for the lash comb so I can deal with lash clumps after applying mascara. It did a great job of separating the hairs on my lashes. This contributed to a more sophisticated look. I recommend if you are looking for quality beauty tools at an affordable price.
