I used this on a single powder brush and nothing. Didn't even clean up a bit. I did it again. Then again. I've used quite a bit of gel - at least a teaspoon each time. I figured the rest would go in the trash anyway so I made one last try with literally half a bottle and it still hadn't erased my only brush.

This material is not suitable for foundation. Doesn't clean the brush (or cleaning pad I have) properly. Shame as I only bought it for my foundation brushes. It leaves a thick film on the hands, it doesn't seem to be resistant enough. I took these photos after rubbing gel on them three times.

I bought this thinking a solid cleaner would be more economical than a gel and I was wrong. I really *love* the RT Brush Cleanser and ended up using it to wash away the residue on my brushes. This almost always left some stains and always left marks, especially on more densely packed brushes. There will be no redemption.

I don't care about the smell it leaves on my brushes as most fragrances cause me allergy problems. The brushes are clean compared to the bar of soap I usually use on them. I heard people love it so I decided to give it a try. Everything is OK. I wouldn't buy it again. I don't think it's necessary to add fragrance to anything that should clean your makeup brushes. Just as it doesn't apply to skincare or makeup.

I have used this twice and both times my brush got so bad after use I had to throw it away. The smell smells like chemicals, not a pleasant smell. Waste of money and I regret the purchase.

I love this RT detergent! They have a new one in a clear bottle and it's not Bueno! The new one smells awful and leaves my brushes weird. I always use this original cleaning product and it is by far my favorite and the smell is so gentle and pleasant! Also, it comes sealed so you know the product is genuine and has not been tampered with. Be sure to buy!

I have just washed about 50 make-up brushes and two beauty sponges. The cleaning gel easily removes all traces of powder. , eyeliner) from my sponges or brushes. I had to go back to Dawn dishwashing liquid, which removes all traces of makeup from everything. I will not buy this again.
