I use this brush to apply foundation to my face without wasting it on a sponge or rinsing my fingers because I apply it with my hands. The brush could be thinner but I won't be smart. I don't have anything quite like it because I used to use makeup sponges. It was one of those things where I had to either pay $5 or buy something small and get free shipping. I can use less makeup than I can with a sponge to get the same coverage, so I'd say it was worth it!

This brush is smaller than you think and does the job, but it's not the best. My favorite Real Techniques hands are "Buffing Brush". It also does a decent job though - it's just different than you'd expect. Once you get the hang of it, it really comes in handy for even distribution. I am very disappointed in this brush. It's too soft and thin for a foundation. Leave all the beats on my skin I had to use a sponge to smooth out the base. Besides absorbing so much product. I love real engineering, but this brush is awful. It was a waste of money.

Real Techniques brushes attracted me because of the bright pens, but as soon as I bought my first brush, the quality and reasonable price made me want to buy new ones again. I've used them with liquids, powders and creams and they work great with all three. The bristles are soft and pick up a lot of product. They hold their shape with washing and I haven't had any problems with the bristles falling out. Although these brushes are inexpensive, they are just as good as quality brushes.

I had high hopes for this brush after hearing from others that they love this brand. I've given it a few chances and uses but will continue to use my old one until I find a new one.
