Due to the shape of the frame's rear tubes, it's just not possible to easily install 2 internal screws. Used electrical tape to help. Why is the outer screw a 12mm hex? There are no 12mm in sets, and single ones are rare. Why not 13mm which is 1/2 inch? Then we can use whatever we can find. The instructions aren't bad, it's just difficult to get the wire and wire and bolt plate through the rusty frame tubing.

Why pay hundreds of dollars to buy from a dealer when you can? Excellent quality, almost identical to OEM. Comes with everything you need to install it. Ideal for 2017 RAM 1500. Installed on a 2019 Ram 1500 Express. Works great, no problems noticed. Threading bolts into the tubular bumper can be a bit of a PITA if you are inexperienced with fishing line. I left out the included wire bends to run a longer piece of 18 gauge copper through the bumper. I found it easier to be able to "brush" the bolt back and forth and insert it into the hole. Reminder that you will definitely need to email the sanding or use a larger dull drill and clean anything the screws go through. They do not match the factory finish. I used an old 1/2 bit and just ran it through all the holes and it cleaned perfectly. You will also need a 12mm allen key. I bought this for my 2020 RAM 1500 Classic Warlock and used it to tow a 2000 pound trailer and overall I'm very happy with the result. HOWEVER the facility was terrible! First they give you wire to thread the bolts through the rear bumper assembly and the wire had to be about a foot longer as it barely went through.
