I dug up my vinyl in a closet after many years. They definitely didn't sound like what I remembered. I saw this on Revain, read the reviews, did a little more research and decided to buy. BOOM, the records now sound how I remember them and I'm spending the weekend reminiscing about my youth! A very simple concept that fully explains why it works. Change/Update: The aerosol can is quite unusable, it comes out as a drop (not like a spray) and no, it doesn't come out as an eye drop like it should. It literally pours out in drops, at first I thought there wasn't enough straw in the bottle, and then I realized that after using it a few times, it started to rise from the bottom. This is very bad because the brush is really good. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on your priceless record collection.

Don't waste your money on something else. This little guy is superior to all expensive vacuum cleaners, electric washing machines and sticky rollers. This works well without liquid splashes if the record is slightly dusty. If you have a record with ingrained dust, spray it onto the cleaner (not the record itself). I suggest buying a pack of microfiber cloths (like eyeglass cleaning cloths) to dust off after each use. The best record cleaner I've ever used.

The brush works as promised. I usually wipe down all my records with a homemade cleaner and lint-free cloth before use, depending on how long they've been sitting or if it's a used record I just bought. However, I use this in my recordings before every performance, works great! I give the brush a few sprays of the supplied cleaner and then gently rub it over the record in a circular motion. After that I never listen to pops/pops. The brush picks up all the dust well.

I take good care of my records. I thought they were clean. A friend recommended this brush to me. As soon as I got it I tried it, thinking I was wasting my time. It did a wonderful job. I really like this brush. In fact, I have three of them. One for each player. With the liquid applied, it does what it's supposed to do - removes light dust and dirt. I use it before playing a record and it helps protect the stylus from dust. This is NOT a deep cleaning brush as the bristles are very small and do not go deep into the grooves. It has no specific direction. It beats some all-velvet brushes to emulate classic RCA style, and this one easily beats them. However, it is no match for a brush with these guide pins, as it takes a great deal of finesse to ensure that it does not leave any streaks of dust on the record.
