I use this device to record golf shots. The achievable height is very limited, so for many applications you need a stable stand with a certain height to get the right perspective.

The picture shows that the stand can hold the phone horizontally or vertically. However, when installed vertically, the stand does not remain balanced in the vertical position. This is just to keep the phone horizontal.

Great design and I really enjoyed using it. I had to return it because the part that holds your phone does NOT fit larger smartphones so don't buy if you have one. I'm not mad at all, just frustrated that the clips can't be resized.

One of the leg extensions does not extend. Will return. I suspect these companies don't expect most people to take the time to return defective products. I'm not in the majority. Otherwise ordered and delivered as stated.

I already have a flexible phone holder that's easy to wrap around things but hard to straighten. I use my phone all the time when I mean . This device is great for video and highly customizable. It is well made and stable. I work vertically or horizontally for your phone. I would buy it again.
