Doesn't catch like the original I replaced. Everything is OK. Easy installation but should work better than the original component. I do not recommend. Get an OEM part

Latch lasted 3 months. The tip broke with normal use. The genuine Toyota part lasted 7 years. I didn't expect to have to replace it again. I had to buy one from Toyota.

The description of the cars it was included for is the 2013 Toyota Rav4 that I have. The lock didn't fit. It was too small so I sent it back. Very disappointed.

Works well on my 2018 Toyota 4Runner but next time I will just go with OEM parts. The latch is a little sticky and doesn't always move freely like the original. Just use genuine Toyota parts and you're good to go.

I ordered a replacement center console latch for my dad's birthday (82) thinking he could just remove two screws from the old latch and replace with a new one. But he called me from outside and said the old latch had 1.5" mounting holes while the new latch only had 1". Now he's very upset, just like me.

I am so happy with this purchase! This is perfect for my 1996 Toyota Avalon. I'm pretty sure it's the same track as before. My center console has been broken for over a year now (the spring on this thing broke). I tried velcro and command strips to keep the lid from popping out, but the hot weather ruined the adhesive. I'm so glad I found this product! It is very easy to install with just two screws. I no longer have to worry about my console accidentally popping out while driving!
