Red Hound Auto Compatible 2005 2009 Review

I somehow managed to lose my original cup holder divider while cleaning my truck. I bought an OEM replacement part and it ended up breaking at the junction of the arms. I was tired of paying $40 for a replacement so I noticed this detail. The product is perfect for my 07 Tacoma. The hands feel a bit flimsy but will hold drinks in place when needed.

First this thing fell apart when I opened the box. After 20 minutes of desperately trying to put it back together I thought it would stick together, but it didn't even take a day for it to come loose and all the pieces fell out. Literally the worst design possible and very cheaply made. I am returning the item! Don't waste your money and time with this product!

Not what I expected. Visually looks good. It's an easy install, but I can say it fell apart when I started putting it back on. It took me a while to find all the parts and even more time to figure out the best way to assemble them. The fit is loose and wobbly in the shell. Some thin foam tape is required to install it properly. Those people should get in touch and send me another one that hasn't been hexed.

The pesky cup holders that came with our Tacoma annoyed us every time we used them. I had to search for the missing holders several times as they were removed along with the attached holder. This holder adapts to every cup we have and keeps the cup stable while also keeping it in place. Too bad I didn't discover it 7 years ago. Don't wait, play around with the manufacturer's design, the sooner you buy it, the longer you'll enjoy it. Definitely a good buy!
