Red Wired Satin Ribbon Yards Review

This red satin ribbon decorated all my Christmas presents this year. I enjoyed working with it, although the wire was less durable than I expected. Good width and color. Many Thanks.

Advertised as wire tie but the wire is so light it's like it has no wire at all! If you are looking for a beautiful satin ribbon with a very light shape and wire backing, then this is for you. It will probably do for some purposes, but not for making bows for gift wrapping.

Beautiful and easy to use. The wire edge helps keep the arch shape and makes it easier to inflate the arches if they break. After tying the red satin ribbon bows with wire, I used the Creative Versa Tool (similar to a wood burning iron) with a flat point to gently go over the raw edges to seal the raw edges to prevent them from fraying. Couldn't find my Fray Check to do this and I found it to be a much better tool for sealing raw edges. No drying time, much cleaner and much faster. I used bows…
