The aftermarket stainless steel Power Antenna Mast design for 1998-2002, 2003-2007 Lexus LX470, 1998-2003, 2004-2008 Toyota Land Cruiser models. Fit correctly and ideal for OEM mast Replacement. Professional antenna make. Teeth on mast is correctly ratchets in motor(be sure the motor still worked). Several Minutes install, save the cost that the dealer would charge to install a new antenna. The track teeth were thick and mast has a plastic bushing on the outer sleeve that holds the mast inside the top nut. Power antenna MAX 5 section, stretch 35inch,Antenna mast wire 44inch. Strengthen the AM/FM reception. Install: 1 Turn on the radio it should eject your old one. Carefully look the mast teeth what position it's in. 2 The teeth should face forward when inserting the antenna for the mechanism to engage and pull it in. Be sure to first compare the old part to the new one to ensure there isn't a piece remaining inside the motor assembly. 3 Stick the new antenna in the hole with the teeth facing forward and turn on the radio -- it sucks in the new antenna in a few seconds.

Antennas don't suit me

In the beginning the installation process was difficult as it didn't go directly where the previous antenna was. Cleaned up and removed the necessary installation parts but unfortunately I just had to go with this one. What's more, it doesn't improve the signal at all, it's more of a decorative element. So the key stalks don't work properly, it's just a decoration and the installation is complicated. Overall it gets 1 star.

The update is bullshit but it worked fine for a month.

update, mine doesn't work after 1 month. The OEM antenna mast fixed it permanently. I have installed dozens of replacement antennas over the years, this one is like any other. When you know what you're doing and you're doing it right. It will work as intended. If you don't know what you're doing, or you still have part of the old antenna in the coil, you've got a problem. I've screwed up a few things, but the problem was with the installer, not the product itself.

I struggled, but Red Wolf worked to please me.

This product does not match Toyota OEM product size. The plastic gear rod is smaller. The part lasted 5 or 6 days, then the teeth on the drive started to jump. Part doesn't fit for my application, Toyota Land Cruiser 2003. An OEW part is about 4.25mm in diameter compared to a replacement just over 3.5mm in diameter. Although the part was built in, I have to admit that RED WOLF refunded my purchase in full. They did this after learning about my issue. The money was returned voluntarily withoutโ€ฆ
