This is a light, thin seat cushion. Weightless and keeping my butt warm as I perch on icy, snowy cliffs on a winter adventure up North NYC.

I have found that I need breaks when hiking, my body is not as young as it used to be. It fits in my backpack and is ready to go when needed, making breaks convenient. I gave the 2nd to my sister for the same reason.

I use both when I'm sitting on a log or stump that doesn't fit the buttocks. Both fillings are perfect. You're a bit skinny for 180 pounds. I use them to kneel while building or landscaping. They seem really tough. In any case, protect my bottom and my knees from unnecessary violence.

Although the filling isn't the most luxurious it will definitely be a lot better than sitting on the metal stands (at the races) and the sidewalk (at the 3 day rock festival) I'll be attending this Year. I can just fold them up and put them in my bag! I tried them on my tile floor and immediately noticed the difference.

It was a waste of money. But I should have known in this price range. Bought as a foam climbing pad and boy should I have bought the more expensive option it's complete cheap junk. But then again, some people want absolutely cheap junk because it saves them money... I get that. That's why I bought it. Don't skimp on comfort.

This was a last minute backpacking purchase and it was a life saver. I usually sit on the ground but we only had an inch of rain and everything was wet so these pads were GREAT. Good deal, I was looking for a recycled Nemo seat cushion which is around $20. Although they are less eco-friendly it was all I could afford and I'm happy with that! Weighs next to nothing, fits easily in a side pocket or clipped to my backpack - definitely a bargain.

EDIT: Weird that this review doesn't show up in the product listing. It's a step further than sitting on bare ground. To the extent that they don't offer significant padding for comfort, they just give you a clean surface to sit on. Same comfort as pulling on and sitting on an extra t-shirt. Not sure how much winter "thermal" protection benefits from this, haven't tried it yet, but that was one of the reasons I chose this model over other budget options.

This is a closed cell foam seat cushion. This is the size of a medium sized butt. So if you're tall, take two. On my kitchen scale, it weighs 54 grams. It's almost impossible to destroy, and even if you destroy it, the price won't be high. It offers extra comfort, some warmth and a dry fit in seconds. I bought these for snowshoeing. They are excellent for this purpose. They are great for sitting on snow, logs, rocks, etc. while walking. Because they are waterproof and insulated, they can be taken with you when you go snowshoeing. Pros: 1. They are waterproof so you can stay dry in the snow.
