Compresses over short duration

I recently took this on a 5-day backpacking trip of section D of the PCT and had a reasonably good experience with it. But I discovered it had compressed after we returned and I inspected it. Plusses: it is very lightweight and comfortable to sleep on. Minuses: it will be less comfortable to sleep on each night and is not a good value for the money since you can get a lightweight inflatable for not much more. Questionable durability. And don't underestimate this product's bulk and width if you…

Pros
  • Light, easy to transport, slept on the ground and it kept me warm and was comfortable.
Cons
  • The size may be too narrow for some people

Works great for my opinion

Very soft and warm. Huge upgrade from my roll up blue pad. I'm 275lbs and slept great every night even on my side. Also works to sit on around the fire. Even layed it out on the slippery rocks around the Colorado River to have a nonslip place to dress and dry off. It's very multifunctional so strap it under your pack and you won't even notice it's there until you bust it out.

Pros
  • Half the price and the same quality of the accordion sleeping pads that you would find at an REI.
Cons
  • Much flimsier than the pictures appear. Doesn't look like it will last very long so I'm returning it.

Not the most comfortable pad to lay on

Light and portable for backpacking. Not the most comfortable pad to lay on, but it beats the cold hard ground. it's great for a small seat around the campfire

Pros
  • Made from high-quality foam that is durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • The pad may not provide enough support for those with joint pain

good alternative to name brand

got this for the kids instead of the name brand, so far they have held up ok and are pretty much the same as far as i can tell. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Outdoor Recreation
Cons
  • The pad may not be long enough for taller individuals

its warm and softer than i expected, which is to say not soft compared to an air mattress but just not as bad as I feared. Hikers buy these for the insulation and for that it worked for me down to the 35f-45f range quite well.

Pros
  • Perfect for use on uneven ground
Cons
  • The pad may not provide enough support for users with heavy body weights

Good alternative to the name brand sleeping pad

This pad is very similar to the Thermarest Z Lite sleeping pad but the Redcamp is 2" wider and a few dollars less. It has good insulation and seems to be well made.

Pros
  • Provides ample space for tall individuals
Cons
  • The pad might not roll back easily after exacting all the air

Easy to use best in my review

Very easy to use after a full day of hiking an d biking. I did not buy the inflatable ones as there need to be blown up and it take time an effort at the end of an arduous day. The only thing was that this is not as comfortable as the inflated ones. But, after a full of of hiking and biking, I would fall asleep anywhere.

Pros
  • Its lightweight design means you won't be weighed down while hiking
Cons
  • The pad may not be suitable for use on wet surfaces

love this thing in my review

This is awesome. I had been using my boyfriends expensive version of this for a long time and he finally told me that I needed to stop bumming it off of him and get my own so here i am. I actually love this one more than the expensive one. I love it more because it is longer and it is a cuter color. Every other aspect of the two are the same. trust me I used them both extensively. this is one of those items that you will never get rid of and always use and have. I use it backpacking like in…

Pros
  • Great for reducing muscle and joint pain after long hikes
Cons
  • The pad may not be long-lasting under heavy use

Pros
  • Ergonomically designed for maximum support and comfort
Cons
  • The pad may not be easy to pack away due to its size

Great comfort and good for camping/trips

Got it for use when going on deployments or camping. Great cushion and easily folds up and straps to backpack. The pad may not provide sufficient insulation on cold surfaces!

Pros
  • Comes in a stylish blue and grey color scheme
Cons
  • The pad may not provide sufficient insulation on cold surfaces

Liked it so much, I bought another one!

Great pad for the price! Combined with an air sleeping pad you have all the comfort in the outdoors. Can’t even feel the weight when strapped on my back pack.

Pros
  • Can be used as a yoga or exercise mat
Cons
  • Users may experience a degree of slipping and sliding while using the pad

Great Product best in my review

I used this in a hammock under my Klymit Sleep Pad. It was noticeably warmer and more comfortable than just the Klymit. Good quality and lightweight.

Pros
  • Made with eco-friendly materials that are non-toxic and safe to use
Cons
  • The pad may not provide enough cushioning for hard surfaces

Good quality for the price.

It's a very decent floor mat for camping. I was rushing to buy one for camping. The seller ship it I'm time and it is still in very good condition after using it for a few weeks of camping

Pros
  • FREELAND EXCEED INC
Cons
  • The pad may not be suitable for car camping, as it takes up too much room

Not sure it was better than nothing at all

I know these types of foam pads have their limits with regard to comfort but this one has definitely fallen below even my moderate expectations. I have a nice Alps self-inflating pad but it's bulky to store in the vehicle and moderately time consuming to pack away (yes, I know. first world problems). I wanted something quick to deploy and pack up and planned mainly to use it with my cot for a little extra padding and the required insulation. This looked to be a clone of a Therm-A-Rest Z-Lite…

Pros
  • Foam material ensures no noise or squeaking during movement
Cons
  • If the user moves a lot while sleeping, the pad may slip from the sleeping bag
