Description of ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enhanced Quad-Vent Turnout Gear Bag for Firefighters with Helmet Compartment, Mesh Vents & Maltese Cross - Perfect for First Responders

Recently updated the shoulder strap design and materials to address issues on early models with the shoulder strap seam coming apart. We also added bar tacks and thicker fabric. No further issues exist.!. Designed with 4 PVC reinforced mesh air vents front & back to provide full ventilation for your gear, unlike our competitors' single vent in the rear. Adjustable padded shoulder strap with US snap hook hardware; Dual #10 zippers on all pockets with nylon pull tabs, zip the full length of the bag on helmet compartment to accommodate larger helmets. Main compartment access on the top of the bag instead of the front for a true "step-in" style access to your turnout gear. Ballistic nylon webbing handles with reflective stitching sewn-in. All nylon webbing includes silver 3M Scotchlite reflective woven right into the straps for 360 degrees of visibility. Additional reflective tape sewn into both sides of front and rear straps (except pink model). Large zippered top flap for "step-in" access to gear in main compartment; Separate helmet compartment till hold traditional style firefighter helmet, and 2 personal pockets for gloves, jumpsuit, change of clothes or personal items.

Good compartment

Pocket layout works well. Boots, pants and coats fit comfortably in the main compartment, and it's nice to have a dedicated helmet compartment. Compact bag that easily fits in the trunk of a Wrangler. It was originally black, the zipper on the main compartment was unzipped. I just got the fluorescent green. Bright doesn't even begin to describe it.

Good value for money! on Motorcycle & Powersports

Great size - I wear XL with size 11 boots. The bag fits a coat, pants, boots, helmet, respirator, hood and gloves and also lets a little Place. It's not a lot of space, but enough for extra socks, t-shirts, etc. I cheat and put my water bottle in the trunk for storage. The zippers are a little lighter than I'd like, but so far they're holding up well.

Suitable for all your gear and then some!

So far, so good. I can fit all the standard equipment (arrows, boots, helmet) with plenty of space. It also fits my winter coat/hat/gloves, rescue and spare gloves. If necessary, you can easily find a place to wear your respirator. I'm concerned about durability as it seems a little basic to use but this is a 5 star product as long as it lasts!

This is a great bag if you want to light your fire.

This is a great bag if you need to store your firefighting gear. I bought because I wanted to get my gear out the back of the car and into something. I had a huge plastic tool box for a while that was taking up too much space. This bag is great. Everything fits and I can just open the bag and get dressed quickly. I would recommend to any firefighter

Easy to use Best in motorcycling

I love this bag. As a new volunteer firefighter in a small rural community, I had nothing to contribute to the station. Everyone has red so I decided to use this color to make it easier to find mine in a sea of red. During training, several people asked where I got mine from and want one too. Holds all turnouts, helmet and shield, mask and some storage. So far it has withstood loading and unloading from a truck well. I think it's a great bag.

Good build. Lots of space

Bought for someone else they are on the rescue team. They love it, it has enough space for their batting gear. I mean it has a lot of space, I'm not kidding. He donned chemical resistant boots (rather tall) while standing and then draped his torso over the boots. He can just open the bag he pulls over his boots, put on protective gear, get out and go. It could also store 2 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of socks and underwear, and 2 hard hats. He still has a damn room! This is a good

3rd try with LightningX - still no success

This is the 3rd case I've bought from LightningX. The first (black) was a step-in bag. It held the bunker gear great and was strong when not full but 3 zips broke completely even after 3 months of light use. Then I bought a very large (brown) ripstop bag to replace. It was flimsy when not full, but it held my full bunker and wildlife gear that I loved, plus lots more room. However, after about 5 light applications the ripstop tore a little and after 3 more applications the other part of theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fits me great
