Excellent jack for trailer leveling and stabilization

This jack is some serious equipment. I welded it directly to my trailer and it works great. I spent a bit more on this type of jack because it's overkill for my 3000lb trailer. But after going through the other three, I got tired of spending money on cheap ones. This is what you are looking for.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • No performance

Good quality heavy duty jack

Works great, heavy duty, easily lifts a large cargo trailer. turn. The jack must be welded to the bracket or trailer and is supplied without mounting hardware. This jack can be used for many projects, not just trailer lifting, great item.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Trade in available

Works great in RV parts and accessories

I really like this style of jack. I rented a trailer and had the same one on it and was blown away by how easy it was to use. I had to have one for my useful pendant. I no longer need to carry a chunk of wood in my trailer for an old jack. This has the ability to pull out the pin and it will pop out. I love it and for the price I couldn't do without it. I welded with no problems.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Quality

This jack is awesome.

I love how you can adjust the foot with the index holes along the slider. Rotate the jack down, put your foot down and lock it in place, then just twist it around a bit. Used welded jack mounts and they match the square tube body well. Even welding a jack is no problem. Lubricated gear head, so should last a long time and run smoothly. The steel leg is wide, so even soft ground shouldn't be a problem.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Minor issues

The best jack for the money, take it!

Very good quality jack at a fair price. I bought two for my boat trailer and was impressed with how strong they are and how they level my 16kg boat with no problem. My third jack, Bull Dog, fails and doesn't work well unless it's taken apart and gets my hands dirty, so I'm replacing it with another Reese 8k jack asap. They're half the price of the Bull Dog and look the same. I'm sold!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Doesn't lift 8000 pounds, more like 500

8000 pounds fools. If the crane puts 8,000 pounds on it, it might hold up. Yes, I know it's rated for 5,000 pounds of lift, but I'd love to see a gorilla that size that could crank it. I had to lift about 1000 pounds and that's about the limit for one person to crank this jack. It's valued at around Β£500. After all that cutting and welding, you don't have to figure it out. Hey Reese, can you send me the gears for the 5000lb capacity? I will change them myself.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Nothing here

perfect solution for leveling and stabilizing

I really wanted an electric jack for my car transporter but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't justify spending all the money an electric jack would cost over Β£5000 pounds would cost for my car. Followers only to worry someone will try to steal it. so i bought this one instead. A very easy to use high capacity jack that gets the job done perfectly. It is more of a chassis jack that comes with 5 wheel trailers. It stands up well and firmly on wet grass, but sinks a bit in mud, so a good…

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good strong weld on the jack

I like everything about this jack. The square tube material is strong, the jack is designed to provide good mechanical advantage. My paint job was in perfect condition. Thanks to the tipping support, the lifting/lowering height can be easily adapted to different trailers. The base is very large and, as other reviews have mentioned, is black, not chrome. I'm towing my implement trailer with a pickup truck. One of the reasons I bought this jack was to get rid of the Aframe round jack as you can't

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not satisfied with everything

Great Jack for a great price. Two thumbs up!

I have a very old and very well assembled home build trailer that I use to tow cars and trucks. It's made of I-beams, weighs over 3,000 empty and is a real beast. Finding something that could lift it with the vehicle and take the abuse from my sons wasn't an easy task. The jacks of the big department stores and trailer dealers were not up to the task. They last a season, if at all, but eventually fail. When I was renovating a trailer this spring, I was looking for a heavy-duty jack that could…
