Good quality - external accessories

Looks good, easy to replace, good quality. I'll have to use them this summer and report later on how they hold up, but I think if you don't leave it in the back of a truck through a salty winter and rain and lubricate the parts as instructed, it should last and work fine.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Very helpful. Best outdoor accessory

The clutch never needs to be changed or twisted to change the ball size. Simply place the correct size ball onto the post, then lower the trailer mount to lock. This system saves time when towing multiple size trailers.*** Remove the ball when not in use. Without a trailer, the ball will not snap and can be stolen.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works great as advertised!

Heavy duty pulley with many dimensions needed to tow a trailer. Ran a ski boat 400 miles with no problems. This is much easier than swapping out traditional ball joints on the receiver for different trailers. I use a coin to lock and unlock trailer balls, no special tools are required. There is no crossbar pin to bend and get stuck like some other models. This is my second in 15 years. The first came with an old truck when I sold it, a bit worn but still great.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • So-so

Fits perfectly on my Tahoe

I don't drive trailers often and don't leave the hitch on the trailer for long. This hitch is perfect for me because I can have one sleeve and use it on multiple trailers. My truck has a 5" drop because it's a bit big and not having to have three separate hitches is a huge benefit. It's very easy to switch from one ball size to another. I've had issues with parking heard about bad weather but i don't have this problem because my hitch only gets put on the truck when i'm going to use it this is…

Very happy with it for towing products and winches

To be honest I was a bit hesitant when I first ordered it. I had never used an interchangeable ball system and was afraid that the trailer and ball would roll down the road in a different direction behind me. There are no such problems here. After towing a few loads with it, I had no problems. I lightly lube the shaft before use and had no trouble getting the ball out at the end of the stroke. It's all easy to take apart and store in a compartment under my truck's seat, so hopefully I won't…

Basic equipment for multiple trailers

If you have multiple trailers this is a must have. I have a small trailer with a 1-7/8 hitch and regularly tow 2 trailers with 2" hitches. I've had a set of 2 sizes (1-7/8 and 2) for many years and just leave them attached to my truck. All I have to do is climb into my cargo hatch and get another size to replace it. It holds up well in the FL elements. I take the ball out, soak the shaft in WD-40, and then re-grease each time. a few months to get rid of the dirt and let it spin freely. The 2"…

This is normal for what it is.

This is a decent setup as I have multiple trailers and need to change hitches all the time. But if you buy this setup, DO NOT leave it on the pickup all the time. I use my grips all year round. I've towed quite a few trailers over the winter. As everything thawed and became dirty, the internal components of the shaft of this facility became clogged with dirt and debris. So much so that it took 3 weeks, numerous impregnations with penetrating oil and a hammer to finally loosen the ball from the…

Pros
  • Hitch Accessory
Cons
  • Modern

Very handy! It's incredibly easy to switch between sizes. All you need is a coin or a screwdriver. The chrome comes off easily and after months of being attached there is plenty of rust even without a trailer (although I understand that a hitch is not designed for permanent attachment and should not have left it if it was not being used). However, the rust is purely aesthetic as the towbar works perfectly. Note that if you live in a high crime area, something can easily steal the spare ball if…
