Reese Towpower 86529 Finish Lighted Review

Looks great. Running light and as an additional brake light. The skull is light and visible. This is a replacement for my first one which was damaged by a snowblower. Overall really good.

Disappointed. 2 things had to be purchased that should be mentioned: 1) Needed a 4 wire extension cord as the one supplied was too short to go from the hitch to the socket and 2) a locking pin to keep it from slipping out.

This was a Christmas present for my son. The first one I bought was chrome and wanted a black skull that glowed red. I reordered the black and sent back the chrome and he just loves the black skull.

Like it, great new hitch cap is short - if your plug is not near the hitch you will need an extension cord. I have a 4Runner and it doesn't even come close to the fork. Therefore only 4 stars

I wasn't sure how red light would look through black. Looks really cool. I was worried it would be cheesy - it's a lot of fun and cool. During the day, when the headlights are off, the black one works fine. At night, when the daytime running lights are on, they come on. When pauses are applied, it is light.

Assembly required. It's not metal, it's plastic. Looks pretty cool BUT unless you have a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter which I'm pretty sure most don't have. You have to spend almost another $30 to buy it to make it work. Looks cool but costs more

The product was very easy to install and looks great. Except it doesn't actually work. I have a problem with the wiring. The plug has an intermittent connection, so my truck keeps warning me that it's going to be plugged in, then unplugged, then plugged in, etc. This happens continuously with every trip. My trailer has no such wiring problems. The problem is so serious that I don't even try to connect it. Otherwise I get a warning every 5 seconds. Connected beep. Beep is off. sound signal. It's

The product itself is fine, the instructions are easy to use, the typical plastic jewellery, probably last 2 or 3 months in the sun and a travel companion for bathing. but it's normal.
