They're paper thin, no good. There are black bags on the box, I have green ones. Do not buy this product, tissue paper is thicker.

We did a lot of remodeling/building in our new home and sorted through the contractors' bags fairly quickly. Unfortunately this is the worst brand we've bought, they are thinner and less durable than other brands we've bought for a similar price.

I've been using contractor bags for many, many years. They should be thick and very hard. That's absolutely not true. No better than a regular garbage bag, maybe worse. Very disappointed with this brand, will not buy again.

I used to use thick, durable contractor bags, but they aren't. They're sturdier than a standard kitchen bag, I'll give them that, but they get punctured easily by cardboard boxes. They don't hold up with the drywall and old nails I bought them for.

These bags fit in my 55 gallon trash maybe only the contractor bags I buy from Lowes have handles and you can find the end of the bags much easier. They get the job done and I have a big box of these, but personally I like the big handles and heaviness of other bags. They're less expensive, so if you use your wits to find the perforated end, you'll be happy with that.

The bag is good for anything that doesn't leak. I usually fill it with cardboard because I'm from a recycling company and I don't feel comfortable throwing them in the trash. leave a backup. Cartons can tear a bag, but it won't cause a HUGE tear like standard LDPE bags. I took off a few stars because the bag doesn't have tassels or anything to tie it up like the page says. This saved my life when my father died and I had to clean his apartment! He had LOTS of very poor quality garbage bags which were actually more of a nuisance than helpful. He had these bad boys and everything went smoothly! No tears, no worries about breaking the tie, no matter how heavy or stuffed they were, they held up perfectly! Not even broken with a few thrown sets of knives!

They are as tough and strong as big players like Hefty or Glad. The only annoying thing is that the perforation between the bags on the roll can be hard to see. This means that if you need to grab a bag in a hurry, you end up looking for a tear, pinching it with your fingers to rip it open, and pulling a bag from the roll. It's not a big problem, but it can get frustrating over time. Otherwise very happy with this purchase.
