Description of 🔥 Remflex 3005 Exhaust Gasket for Ford L6 Engine (Set of 2): Optimal Seal & Performance

1-9/16 inch width x 1-25/32 inch height Oval Intake Ports; Ford L6 - 300 ('65-'86), Combination Intake/Exhaust with Riser Gasket, Manifold or Headers, 2 Piece Set. 1-11/32 inch width x 1-3/4 inch height Square Exhaust Ports. Includes riser gasket. Heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp resulting in gaps between the head and header which Remflex exhaust gaskets seal completely due to the thickness and compressibility of the 100 percent flexible graphite. There are no rubber binders or composite materials in Remflex exhaust gaskets so they will not shrink or harden due to time or temperature eliminating the need to go back and continually retighten your flange bolts. Fit type: Universal Fit.

Remflex manifold gasket

It is not the product that needs to be repaired, but the packaging. I had to return the product twice as the packaging did not protect the product. Using labels in proper packaging will damage the product. Please check the quality control on the packaging.

Fragile and expensive

Unfortunately, this seal is fragile. The instructions say not to use caulking glue. When the gasket slipped off the manifold and fell 2 feet to my garage floor, it buckled and broke. I then went to the auto parts store next door and bought a Felpro combination intake/exhaust gasket. Uses glue to secure it in place. It did not shrink under pressure like Remiflex. The Felpro seal worked like clockwork. Remiflex is too fragile to be practical and costs twice as much as Felpro. Disappointed but…
