Pros: It heats up quickly and is comfortable to wear on your wrist/hands. The heating plates have rounded edges that do not pull on them. Cons: The temperature gauge is very difficult to read. The deep black numbers on an unlit gray background are then covered with a high-gloss plastic cover.

You can't go wrong with these hair straighteners! I buy new ones every few years because they get dirty, but these things really suit me! High quality, heats up quickly, makes hair smooth and smooth.

I've had a Remington iron for a while and when I had the opportunity to get Chi cheaper than usual I bought it. It damaged my hair so much and I remembered how soft my hair was when I had a Remington straightener so I ordered this one and it's amazing. My hair is so soft again. I have very curly and frizzy colored hair and it's a bit thick. This straightener works amazing, it makes my hair naturally straight.

They always say you get what you pay for and that statement is true when it comes to this hair straightener. The only reason I didn't send it back was because when I opened it I thought it would be decent so I threw away the packaging. Too bad I didn't because I can't even use that as a "backup" if all else fails. Very disappointed with this product.

It was a great straightener at first, but after a few uses the buttons started to press all the way and now it's difficult to even turn it on. Also, somehow the middle part that allows you to pinch it has deteriorated and it hardly closes without me having to grab it with both hands. It just annoyed me to be honest.

I usually buy expensive irons, otherwise they don't get hot or work well. My husband actually ordered this for me and it works just as well as the expensive ones. I was very surprised and impressed.

Gets warm quickly and glides well through the hair. I don't think my hair is as shiny with it as it is with my latest Remington. I'm a bit disappointed that the temperature display doesn't light up. Unless you're around, you don't know it's on. I think I got what I paid for.
