As others have said it has been working for 6 weeks and now the remote is not responding. Changed batteries - to no avail. If you press the button 50-100 times quickly, it will work intermittently. Disappointing because it replaced an older model that lasted over 4 years with daily use.

My wife scattered lamps throughout the screening area. I like to watch my films in the dark, like in the cinema. I didn't like going for a walk, turning off the light before sitting down and watching a movie. With this remote control I can turn off the light in 2 seconds. Love it.

Some things you plug in have an on/off switch on the cord that's hard to reach. This is the perfect solution. I also like to turn on the light in the living room when I go to bed. So if I have to get up before bed, the light next to the kitchen is already on. Then when I'm ready to go to bed, I don't have to get up and go to the living room to turn off the light. Also great for Christmas.

I use this for my home entertainment system that works best when certain components are switched in a specific order. What I love most about this product is that the remote control allows the remote switchable outlet to be hidden behind the entertainment system and still works on the first push almost every time from 12-15 feet away! Dollar!
