Does not fit 600 series

I bought this to replace a broken side brush on my 600 series Roomba. However, the screw holding the brush is larger than the hole in the brush.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Almost OK

The screw hole is not big enough!

The holes for the top of the screw weren't big enough for it to go through. I was able to make the hole big enough by taking a utility knife and cutting it down. Other than that, it works great!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Easy repairability

Roomba 675 needs modification

Center hole doesn't fit my Roomba 675. Can't tell if it fits other models but I had to drill some holes to make it fit. Let's see how long they last, the original lasted 5 months.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Not bad

Excellent quality with a small tweak

Excellent value for money. You need to take a 5/8 bit and score the top of the screw hole on the brush so it cuts into the receiver. If not, then you will need to buy a longer screw. Once you do that, it will work like a charm.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Can be customized

Logically I entered my iRobot Roomba model into Revain's parts finder. I have an E series vacuum. When the brushes arrived I was dismayed that they didn't fit. The screw was too big to sink into the brush head to reach and tighten the threads on the vacuum cleaner. My solution was to take a wide flathead screwdriver and drill a plastic hole to fit the screw head. With a bit of persuasion, I was able to complete the task. This requires a little effort, but these brushes may not fit all types…

NOT FOR MODEL 655 (see rating for what fits)

Bad. I checked in a hurry where the description says the side brushes are not compatible with the 645 and 655 models. For the 655 model, purchase the side brushes for 800/900 series robots. I can't comment on the 645 model, but the following might help. If your Roomba has a gray brush side mount, you will need the same brush as the 800/900 series. You can confirm this on the i-Robot website. No stars because the seller mentioned incompatibilities and the products seem to be of decent quality…

Brushes too long for model 675

I had to scratch out the hole for the screw with a large slotted screwdriver so that it could reach the thread below. The brushes get caught in the roller wheels. They are 2.75 inches long, about half of which is plastic that holds the flexible hairs. I don't know if this was the case with the original brushes as they all broke but I don't think so. You can't cut the brushes because there's nothing left. It spins well so I won't know how well it does for a while. If they do their job for at…
