Better than OEM, I just got a DELL Alienware M17 R4, it has a blue LED that lights up when charging, OEM doesn't, this one works great, came new in the box, almost identical to the OEM.

I got it the other day and it was an absolutely good product, it's from Dell themselves. because I needed this for my alienware x51 r1 to upgrade the cpu and gpu on it. Yes, it's a really old computer, but I'm trying to restore it to liking it on day one.

The goods came new and as in the photo. I wish I had noticed that there is a display at the end of the cable that connects to the computer that is an identical replacement for my Alienware charger that came with my laptop. It's a minor annoyance (esthetics only) but other than that it's an official Dell charger.

This PSU cannot power my Alienware M17R4 (I9, 3080). At first it works until I load the system with the GPU. Once this happens, the adapter LED will go out and will not return without removing power. After reading some other reviews this has become a trend.

I ordered several of these and they ALL made it. After a few months, the strain relief will loosen or the sheath will shrink. When this happens my Dell computer no longer recognizes it as a Dell charger and stops charging the battery. Not sure if this is a Dell defect or a Dell copy. But I will not buy this product again.

This product has an output power of 330W. The last guy said it wasn't. Input from 100V to 240V. Makes 330. Other than that, this item doesn't work for me. My Alienware 17 r5 is lagging and not running at peak performance. The BIOS doesn't recognize it, so the computer won't run at its maximum performance. The product is good but doesn't work for me. To return.

I bought this to use on an EGPU setup I was fiddling with. It was enough to run a 980ti with a TDP of 250W, so it should be good for that direction. However, I can also say that it worked well to power my Hades Canyon NUC, which I initially tested it with. Definitely recommend to anyone who owns an Alienware or wants to hook up an HDPlex DC-DC power supply.

It's big but not as heavy as I expected as my 180 watts are comparable to this 330 watts. So far my Alienware A51m is working fine with RtX 2080 so I hope it will work for a while. Overall worth a try. The UPDATE charger still works but is not powerful enough to keep the laptop stable even when overclocked and under voltage. Something just went wrong not to know what it really is. Even with 180W Vbios on my GPU it works but crashes. From time to time it says in the bios that the charger is not…
