This replacement thumb stick is smaller than the original and the part the thumb rests on is NOT rubber. It's a completely solid piece of plastic. I return it and take my money elsewhere.

Feels almost like the real thing. By following the I Fix It guide and taking my time I was able to easily replace this. Just remember to take it slow and not get frustrated.

Wrong size for a round pad but it works. I originally left a 1 star review but it didn't match the product due to frustration trying to fix my system. It's not the same as a standard joystick, but maybe I just need to break it down a bit.

Misleading. The seller's pictures show the replacement of the 3DS rubber cap pen when the actual product is made entirely of plastic. The product description does not explain the design of the part. It works but what I received doesn't match the pictures on the product page.

This is actually one of the easiest ways to fix your 3DS. No boards need to be removed. After you open the 3DS, the round stick is right there, held in place by two screws. I understand that this can be a problem for those who don't have much experience repairing electronics as there are some delicate parts in this repair. In terms of quality, after installing it seemed pretty good to me with minimal resistance. When playing, it looks pretty close to the original. It's not exactly OEM quality…
