If you're thinking about using this microphone cable, don't rush to order. This is by far the worst cable I've tried for my Xbox One headset and I feel cheated that I only had to wait two days before this product was called useless on day one. The mic barely picks up my voice, and when it does, it's accompanied by the most annoying interference imaginable. I hope my review will save you the trouble.

I thought these were great at first as did most of the reviews but noticed that when I used them to make calls the person on the other end of the line could barely hear me and I had to shout into the microphone. They also said they heard a high-pitched whine when I used the headphones. And now it's November, I bought them at the end of June-beginning of July, but they no longer work at all.

Bought to replace my daughter's broken cord. She plays online games with her friends on her switch. Before this cable, she never had trouble hearing friends. The sensitivity of the microphone is so low that she has to hold the microphone directly in front of her mouth and speak very loudly. Even when they do, they hardly ever hear them. I tested it with 3 other devices and the mic sucks. It is unlikely that anything will be picked up. This cable is totally useless when using a microphone.
