Installation was easy and the ballast worked surprisingly well. It doesn't come with gaskets, but your expectations shouldn't be high for a $50 ballast. Competitors cost TEN TIMES cheaper! The purchase is fully justified, I will buy more and recommend to everyone. If you need it, it's not a problem as it's covered by a warranty. The customer service is AMAZING and I unfortunately ran into an issue they took care of for me with ease. Would give 6 stars if I could.

In Short; Water got into my headlight and the module burned out (**07 BMW X5 BTW**), thought it was a bulb, replaced the bulb but it still doesn't work. At a loss I went to the dealership and they called me ridiculous, found this and thought I would try it myself. Just what I needed to fix my headlight. Hardly distinguishable from the blocks removed from the headlight at the factory. Bought two and both work great. Installed on a 08 BMW 650i E63. For those worried about the price, there's not even a hint of the complexity of the lightweight ballast, such as in the iPhone. The iPhone is made in China and costs $500. Bought and just installed. Works great and looks like the original. My complaint is that the seal is not attached to the device. Ballast failure is always due to either a short circuit or corrosion due to water leaks. If, due to water leaks, the seal is mostly to blame, the seal must be replaced at the same time as the ballast change (this is also the best course of action). There was great concern when the internal connections of this BRAND NEW BALLAST were found to have melted after the very first test! I was able to remove the melted debris and decided to try again thinking that "now it can't be returned". * IT WORKS GREAT.
