Generates a loud buzz when using this cable. It doesn't matter if it's tight or not. It is better to buy a replacement from Steel series.

There is a squeaky popping sound when using the microphone. This was the case with Discord, in-game messages, etc. I experienced the same thing with both cables I bought. Instead, I recommend getting a replacement from Steel Series.

Not worth the investment. I can't turn the sidetone on AT ALL without that high-pitched screeching. My teammates often complain that they hear weird echoes when my mic is muted. I bought 5 of these cords (my cat is a terrorist). I wouldn't waste your money on this cable. Buy direct from the Steel range. Cheaper is not better.

Connected and friends immediately complained that they could hear themselves even when disconnected, so there are wires in the cable that shouldn't be. Don't waste your money or time returning them. EDIT: Ordered a second EXACT SAME EDITION. give them back tomorrow. Again. Poor workmanship and 2/2 were defective. Don't order this junk. If you need replacements, order them from steelseries.

I don't know if the cable is damaged or there is something inside but when I plug in this cable that I bought and join a friend on Discord or an Xbox Companion , they can hear themselves and my game, which is not good at all since we play FPS games, sound is everything. I've also tested the window's sound capabilities and can actually hear myself and anything I'm listening to or playing. I am willing to try another cable but if it doesn't work I will return it.
