Arrived quickly and exactly as described. The packaging was more than adequate. Fairly simple exchange process. Just be gentle and take your time. Good game! My little one crashed mine twice and both times the LCDs underneath were fine.

I had to replace the screen on our Wii U controller. It seemed to work. I took apart my gamepad and when I took the screen out of the box I noticed that the ribbon cable was short. I mean it was very short. It was maybe 1/4 inch long. So now I'm no better than when I started, and I have to reassemble the gamepad and drive to town to return this screen.

The spare part worked perfectly and the granddaughter's gamepad works again! (They love it!) Despite the lack of meaningful instructions, the YouTube videos proved to be the most important aid to the actual repair. The main issue for me was removing and replacing numerous ribbon cable connections, especially with my aged 71 year old eyes! Get help from someone with good eyesight and nimble fingers to deal with this and you'll have a great solution.

Watch YouTube videos as others say. Notice that there is a very small gray latch on the inside of the motherboard that holds a very small ribbon cable. Be very careful when lifting it properly because once it pops out you're done. Superglue or hot glue won't work because it's impossible to glue it back properly. There are no instructions included so you need to find them online and follow them very carefully! I'm good with things like this, but there are a lot of ribbon cables and I have old eyes, so plugging and unplugging all the cables is difficult. My screen was scratched but worked so I wanted to replace it to get it looking good again. I thought just because I should put in a new digitizer. I broke one of the latches holding one of the smaller straps in place, now the panel doesn't detect a touch.
