REPLACEMENT ENGLISH KEYBOARD STICKER BACKGROUND Review

Update February 5, 2018: I have been using stickers for almost two months - 4 pieces in total - and the S and D stickers are already peeling off in the corners. I'm using Modge Podge hoping to extend the life of the stickers until I find a better solution for my keyboard. It only took me 4 stickers to replace the worn out ASDW keys on my backlit gaming keyboard. It fits a little less than the key, which isn't a problem. Every keyboard my wife buys is clean and shiny from the start. Each key makes a pleasant click, the letters appear on the screen quickly and concisely. Over time, she erases the letters used by her left hand, particularly the S, E, R, T, C, V, B, S, and D keys, making troubleshooting and maintenance nearly impossible. Some letters on my keyboard have been erased and more are added every month. I put off these replacements for a while as I had several concerns: They wouldn't feel right under my fingers; it will be cheap paper, and it wears out quickly; the price was higher than I expected; They fall off after little use. Don't waste your money on these stickers unless you're happy to cut yourself on the edges of the stickers. I had to remove them so I could use my laptop again because printing the stickers kept cutting me as I applied them. Removing the decals once in place was next to impossible. So if you want something that can be easily removed or adjusted, forget buying. Worst smell of any product I have ever received. However, the product works and seems safe. Definitely doesn't look as pretty as the pictures, but it's a big improvement over the blank keys. I'm using a Logitech wireless keyboard and at least 15 keys are gone. From a distance you won't notice they are stickers, but up close you can see the white border around the sticker. I liked that they were easy to apply and felt tacky enough to be long lasting. They were big enough that one of the edges could easily protrude beyond the key, so it's not great because I imagine they can snag and unhook over time, but that's just conjecture on my part. For the most part they look good. You can see which ones have been replaced but it doesn't look terrible (I'm attaching a photo - where you can see I've replaced the E, R, T, A and S keys. A simple fix for faded keyboard keys and a lot cheaper than buying a new keyboard! I just put them on yesterday, let's see how long they last. I just stuck them on the faded keys and kept the rest of the stickers in case some of them need to be replaced. I wiped the keys with alcohol first and the stickers on them seem to be holding up. I took before and after photos to show how good the buttons look now.

I purchased replacement US English keyboard stickers to replace the A, E, I, O, S, M, N, 1, 2, 3, and 6 keys on my desktop keyboard, which is used daily (often for hours) in my office. I love my keyboard and unfortunately it is no longer available. The decals are vinyl and look well made. Very strong stickers with letter keys. I had about 10 keys that were "erased" through hard use and time. I used to always buy a new keyboard. Stupid, stupid of me. These inserted letters work fantastic! I've had them on my keyboard for at least 4 months with daily heavy use and they stick to the keys with no wear or letter reduction. In fact, I completely forgot I was wearing them until I saw this review reminder. It's like it's just an original keyboard. I'm completely sold!
