Huge $$ savings, works great as the new key has all the features of the original key. It required some user modifications to remove the chip and install in a new shell, see YouTube for help.

Update: Lasted less than a month before it broke. waste of money. Fits like a glove. It took me a few minutes to sort myself out. But it fits exactly as if it were an original Honda key fob cover.

I had to file some plastic as it was poorly shaped to fit but it worked. It broke within the first 3 weeks when I turned the key in the ignition. Crack where the key enters the case.

Obviously it's universal. But it works. Looks great. HZ, what more do you want. I have a yellow one and my husband has a red one. I noticed that both wobble a bit with the screw. For example, if you screw it all the way down the sides, it loosens a bit. Husbands are fully screwed, I didn't leave mine all screwed. No problem.

This cover fits our 2006 Honda Civic perfectly❗️It was easy to fit, just make sure all the buttons are in the right holes and lined up. Also insert the screw on the right side. First I put it in wrong and I had to take it out and screw it in from the right side. This keeps the mechanism intact and works great❗️

My original key fob was on its last legs with tape all around. Luckily I took a chance on this substitution and low and now it was the perfect fit! At first my fiancé didn't think this was the way to go, but I'm glad I took the risk because he was pleasantly surprised, as was I! Now I want to buy red but it's sold out. I hope 3+1 comes out in red as soon as possible!

The case was a reliable replacement after the plastic of the original wore out. They apply black tape that can be peeled off to reveal the Honda logo. I didn't care. The car is more reliable than the original. The only thing I found inaccurate was that the replacement screw was too long for a snug fit. It wouldn't screw in, so I used a shorter screw from the original case to screw it in. Otherwise the product is a great replacement
