You probably can't program this key fob yourself. Before you buy, check the website to see if you can program your model. I checked out a few random cars after looking at mine and none could be programmed.

Product description helped a lot Programming guide helped a lot but I had to try 3 times. It was kind of hard to follow. but the product works and it saved me a lot of money compared to what the retailer would have charged me.

The product comes in plain packaging and works great. Don't be afraid to do it yourself, the programming is tricky but not very difficult, you just open some doors and insert the keys. Great product and I plan on buying another one lest the other give us away without warning.

I PURCHASED THIS TO REPLACE THE SHORE FOR MY 2006 TOYOTA SIENNA. AFTER THREE CONSECUTIVE TRIES IT FINALLY WORKED AND CONTINUES TO WORK WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. THE ERRORS WERE MY SIDE AND THE KEYFOB IS STILL PERFECT. (2 WEEKS) I AM VERY SATISFIED BECAUSE IT IS MUCH CHEAPER TO BUY THAN FROM A DEALER. I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO WANT TO REPLACE THEIR OLD ONE.

I was very hesitant to program the remote control and looked at it for several days hoping that one of the family members would do it for me, but unfortunately after not having the remote control for 4 days, I decided to try it. It took a few times to get the steps right, but even then it didn't take more than 5-10 minutes. It might be easier if someone reads me the steps, but honestly it's not difficult - try to code yourself instead of paying someone to do it.

This key fob works great - just like the one that came with the car. You are taken to a website and have to follow detailed instructions to program it, but I'm glad I was able to save so much money by not going to the retailer.
