This Roomba was a great fix when our side brush was slowing down. It made my old Roomba work like new! I will 100% buy this component when the teeth on the gears wear out again. Runs like a champ.

My Roomba's side brush motor is stuck. I took it apart and decided to try and replace rather than spend $100 on a new Roomba. The new engine was a few days late; my only complaint. It took 2 minutes to install and Roomba is back in action!

This was the perfect replacement for our broken Roomba rotating brush. If you're familiar with disassembling Roomba, it shouldn't be difficult. If not, be sure to read the instructions. I had to adjust the screw to allow the brush to rotate. It was too tight.

I've been using it every other day on my Roomba for the past 2 months. It was easy to install, works well and is inexpensive. The only issue I have is that it runs much noisier than the original motor module. (I read a previous review on the same topic.) Time will tell how long this module lasts.

I ordered this part because my old one wore out after a few years. The replacement part was easy to assemble but not worth the price. This went on for about 9 months before the problems started. I've cleaned it several times and rebuilt the brush to last a few more months, but it's completely died since then. I originally bought my Roomba for a few hundred dollars and will not spend $40 a year to keep it running.

In the meantime I have replaced a lot of things on my 2 year old Roomba. That's not much for a $200+ vacuum, but this Roomba was in a HOUSEFIRE. Not only was he exposed to extreme heat, he was in the same room where the fire broke out, and firefighters flooded the area and plunged Roomba into an ugly carbon buildup.
