💡 Epson ELPLP78 Replacement Lamp: Enhanced Performance for PowerLite, EX, and VS Series Projectors Review

Epson's first lamp lasted over 5000 recommended hours. The projector said it was time to change. Still a great picture. This new lamp has worked for several months. There is a red line at the top of the image. i love epson I'm not sure if it's an Epson bulb or not. Obviously not. I thought this is what I bought.

When I first bought my projector with an Epson lamp, it lasted 2 years and 10 months! I've only had a replacement Epson projector lamp for about 4 months but so far it's working well and I hope it lasts another 2 years like the first one. All in all it saved me from buying a new projector!

Easy to change but only lasted me 8 months. Better to buy directly from Epson. The projector started smoking and something burned inside. I hope you can take it off to replace it.

From another person's experience, this lamp did not last long, about a month and when I went to remove it I found that the electrical connection between the lamp and the The projector was melted so it was incredibly difficult to remove the lamp while the connector side of the projector is broken and I can't just buy a new connector. So I now imagine that all future lightbulbs will have to be soldered in. It was a horrible experience. It's also not a true Epson replacement.

Don't buy! This lamp lasted a month and then melted in my projector. My projector is broken and I need to buy a new projector.
