I thought the plug was a standard 3/8" size so I figured they would fit given the description says that they are suitable for almost all lower blocks. Gasket inner diameter 5/16”/8mm.

While I'm usually skeptical about buying aftermarket gaskets I decided to give them a try for the price. Overall they seem to be of good quality and since using them I haven't had any issues with water getting into the lower unit.

They shrink and shrink causing drain and filler plugs to loosen! I've already tightened them twice on two motors and the connectors are loose again. Don't believe it! You will get water in the lower block in time. Buy Genuine Yamaha Gaskets. They are tight and when you tighten the cork it stays tight.

After a long search for a matching 20hp Mercury 4-Stroke Outboard I finally found these Lower Block Drain Plug Gaskets. I've been using regular Merc gaskets for a long time only to find that they are too big for my smaller connector model.
