I was so excited about this product! We have an elevated fire pit and I thought this would be the perfect solution to prevent the grass underneath from dying from the heat when the fire pit is in use. That does not work. I am so disappointed.

VERY well made. Definitely heat resistant because my husband uses it under the smoker for cooking all day. Simply hose off or simply spray with water and wipe off. Sorry my photo isn't clean but I think it's time to cook again! Lol 😂

Works well under my bird feeder to keep bird seed out of the lawn. I cut down to the middle with a good pair of scissors. I have the color green to blend in with my lawn. The round 36" should keep bird "weeds" from growing in my lawn.

One day after grilling, I went outside to cover the grill after it cooled down. Somehow a small coal fell out of the grate and landed on the mat. He checkmated and hit my deck. And this is exactly the situation I tried to prevent by buying a carpet. Otherwise it's a good product, it just doesn't do what I think it should!

These are the floor mats you put under your car! Not only does it look metallic, it behaves like metal. Originally I wanted to use it as a stand for a telescopic tripod. But the grooves were too deep and the pad wasn't big enough. Also, due to the thickness, there were small bulges that popped up all the time. But if you are looking for an outdoor grill mat, this is definitely the one for you.

A heavy glossy green round mat. Has the familiar plastic smell of a kids pool toy. Very hard on arrival but should flatten out after a day in the summer sun. I have several similar grill mats that are thinner, more flexible, and matte in color. I'm not sure if this material and construction is an advantage or a disadvantage. Update: A few months later, these green carpets went ultra-shiny. I would prefer a matte finish.

When I ordered this in July it was pictured with a grill and the description and product name was misleading. I read the description of the item and it didn't say it was just a rug. I always read descriptions. The mat itself is packed in a small long box. I unrolled it and put some heavy objects on top to try and flatten it out. After a week of heavy objects, it still wasn't flat and still rolled around the edges. Not worth the money, buy another carpet.

I bought this to protect my deck after the charcoal burned through in a few small spots. It turns out this is worse for the deck than coal or heat. It traps moisture underneath, damaging the decking wood and also getting very dirty and rough. In other words, you can't just leave it under the grill like you might expect. Rather, you should remove and store it after each use to avoid what I have described. This works well on concrete, but if your grill is on concrete, you don't need any of these…
