I bought this to replace the one I've had for half my life (*cough* 1 point and a few years ago ). I was very happy with this new case. PROS: - Contains heat - Prevents hot curling irons from damaging other items in the drawer or bag - Can be left plugged in on the counter for a long time (inside the case) - Nice color CONS: - Velcro seems unnecessary (possibly a flimsy iron?) In general an excellent case. I'm glad I bought it and hope it lasts. I've had it for over 4 months now.

I always kept my straighteners and curling irons in an old oven mitt. It works, but traveling with it is embarrassing. I've had this heat resistant case for about two months now. It's cute (many other beautiful styles available) and fits like a glove. It's also a great place to rest a straightener or flat iron while styling, preventing damage to the finish of your sink or vanity.

We have a small bathroom and I always hate leaving anything hot around, anything can happen with kids and pets. I just wrap the iron up as soon as I turn it off and unplug it and no longer worry about someone accidentally getting burned or knocking it off the sink while it cools.
