May not be your car as advertised

Didn't fit my car Incorrect mounting holes. The new one is on the bottom, the old ones on top, they don't have the necessary mounting holes. The old one had 4 mounting holes, the new one only 2. I had to send it back but that's no problem.

Will not fit 2005 Silverado 2500 with Duramax

Will not fit 2005 Silverado 2500 with Duramax despite what it says. Screw hole patterns are the way to go. I couldn't send it back as I had already soldered a new pigtail. If you order one, check the resistor package installation before doing any work so you can send it back.

Does what it's supposed to and fits perfectly.

Fits perfectly. I ordered one from carparts.com and it didn't fit. That part was the right part. It's a bit difficult to get in due to the position of the rear connector. You have to press on the clip to pry the old one out, but I used a screwdriver to pry it out. immediately entered a new one. This is what you need when your fan speeds stop working one after the other.

Purchased with fan from AWG Auto Parts! The assessment therefore applies to both products. The product is perfect for manual temperature controlled fan motors and resistor plates, amazingly fast delivery of AWG auto parts, old parts were already waiting for new parts, installation and completion took less than 30 minutes. high. The whole process from ordering to receiving and installing in less than 30 hours, I think it's great!

Perfect fit and issue resolved

Took about 10 minutes to install and my issue was resolved immediately. Settings 1-4 on the AC control box went wrong, and after a bit of digging on the internet I suspected the relay was blown. Ordered and shortly after a bit of work all 5 settings on the AC regulator are working again and air is flowing through the vents. I recommend watching a few videos to see what you're doing, but this is a pretty easy fix job. This part fit perfectly and was easy to assemble.

def Does NOT fit my Sierra. not even sure what they sent but after visiting NAPA and buying the correct one ($3 more and actually $4 less at Advance and Autozone) we pulled a bundle from stock and none fit or fit at all. fit and all fan speeds worked except #5, but the mounting tabs were badly torn, misaligned in weird places, and no mods were able to install it. You can get this part with a 2 year warranty for $18 from Autozone or Advance and $24 from Napa (10% off codes), a waste of time for…

Perfect for 2002 Long Cab Silverado 2500hd without A/C. There was some confusion as to whether I needed the 2 or 4 mounting hole version, but 2 was correct. A screw was badly rusted and had to be loosened with a vice. Ideal replacement for silicon based resistors that should last longer. The first lasted 19 years, I hope I don't have to do it again. Same part as dealer, part price!

I gave 5 stars just for ease of installation but it really depends on how comfortable you are with wiring to the male end of the harness. But I'm happy with it and I'm very happy with the product, plus my car has air conditioning again. This combination was several times cheaper than a similar one in ordinary auto parts stores. Here's a word of caution: BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR SPECS! The first time I ordered the wrong part, it cost me another week of a cold. But it was my fault that I ordered too
