Captured FM frequencies normally but bought it to listen to Air Traffic Channels. There was so much noise that I didn't find it useful for my purposes.

I'm surprised at how sensitive this radio is. And the range is fantastic. I can receive stations on any band. My only complaint is that the maximum volume through the speaker is still pretty low. But overall I'm enjoying this radio more than I expected.

There is more to say. Great technique, very intuitive and fun to tinker with. The only thing to note is that the built-in speaker isn't the best, but not unexpected for such a small radio. Use headphones for a better listening experience. I recommend this radio.

I love this radio! It's a lot smaller than I expected and works just as well as my big one. It's fun going through all the different channels that are out there. I'm still trying to figure it out. It's so small you can take it anywhere. Bought to listen to new stations. TV news channels suck these days.

Very weak receiver. It doesn't even pick up more than two FM stations. The tower does not pick up within 2 miles from the airport. For you aviation lovers. I tried it at Sun-n-fun. Lots of ramps and air-to-air gear that I couldn't get hold of. It is connected to an additional antenna wire on the outside. Useless. Returned.

Excellent portable radio for the price. I bought a radio for weather, AM/FM and occasionally SW and broadcast. Picks up more signals than I expected with built in and attachable antennas. The charge lasts a long time too. The instructions could be clearer and some functions/controls are not intuitive, but that's because there's a lot of functionality in a sleek, compact receiver. (Fits nicely in a pocket.) These issues don't matter now that I've been using this device for several months.

When I say smaller than expected it is because the dimensions are wrong in the listing. This picture seems to have been taken from the Retekess product page where they are also wrong in this picture but correct in the other one. According to another picture it's 4.25" x 2.36" x 0.62". I didn't measure but it seems much closer. Still, it's a cute little radio. I don't seem to have a problem with it on the wrong VHF frequency, local weather station on 162.550MHz is pointing right there.I was able

This is a unique little radio that covers all the bands I'd like to listen to. But unfortunately it has very low sensitivity and selectivity in the non-FM/AM bands, making it practically unusable for these applications. It can only pick up powerful commercial radios like NOAA (but it transmits sound over a wide range of frequencies, so it's difficult to determine the actual channel frequency) and WWV (I live 50 miles from the radio station and can barely hear it).
