Good product! - Headlight assembly, spare parts and accessories

I decided to order so that after replacing the adjustment fittings I can properly assemble my headlights. Works great with a hair dryer to gently heat and soften the rubber. Stretch it into a small ball at the edge of the lens and slowly heat and press the lens against the body until the clips snap into place. Nice packaging too!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • So far so good

Quality stuff right here. Play it safe

I bought some Bi-LED projector lamps for my 4Runner. I scraped off all the old butyl and had to buy new butyl. Thank God this brand appeared immediately. Morimoto is one of the market leaders in this industry, so I know I have the best materials to reseal my headlights. I'm glad I chose black instead of gray as it matches the black print on the corner marker.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Modern

Everything you need for headlight foiling.

I opened up and painted the insides of my Tesla Model S headlights and used this material to THICKEN the back of the headlight. Put rubber between the gaps, heat it with a hair dryer and press it onto the headlight housing. That seals right. You can warm up and keep pushing if needed. Excellent material and one roll is enough for about 2-4 headlights depending on the size. I have a ton extra even after doing 2 headlights.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to say

Excellent material! best in Headlight Parts & Accessories

I used this material to stick the inner door paneling and the outer door (from the inside). It's easy to cut, easy to trim, and far more than I need for my 4-door Jeep Grand Cherokee. I will keep buying it when I need more. It's cheaper than big brands and works just as well. Odorless, just as sticky and nice neat packaging. Get roles! Some places inside the door required a steady hand or knuckles, but in most cases, casters were better and easier.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative impression

It's glue. It worked.

Bought black to match black painted innards in case anything comes up. Looks good. It's easy enough to work with, just stay away from anything you don't want it to stick to. Cools relatively quickly to an unusable temperature, the processing time between baking can be 2-3 minutes depending on the size and thickness of the ball. I don't have much experience with butyl rubber, maybe they're all the same, who knows. This worked pretty well for me. Well compacted, I haven't noticed any condensation

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost OK

Super strong and sticky! Becomes very fibrous when torn!

The best for your retrofit project. Throw it in the oven at 150-200 degrees for about 3 minutes so it will work better when trying to get into the channels of your case. Heat everything again for 3-5 minutes and push it flush and evenly into the channel with a flat roller or roller with a grid covering. I would add that if you reheat this material to reshape the body or take it apart again it becomes extremely viscous for some reason, more so than most original butyls so be aware so nothing…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Reliability
