I don't know if what I received works like this balm but the product is very dry and powdery and needs a bit of processing to make it behave like other balms I have used, which generally resemble jelly from Kentucky. Anyway, it does the job and the smell is AWESOME!

I've tried pretty much every balm available and this one is by far the best when it comes to fragrance, ease of use etc. The only reason I took off a star is because it's overpriced. See the image for context on size and I have smaller fingers. If you have a male beard, this balm will last a couple of weeks. It's more expensive than most but comes with a lot less. I think you might get what you pay for...

I love the smell but like other reviews have said it is very dry and you really need to work on it before you can apply it to your beard. The case was a bit loose when it arrived so I'm not sure it's meant to be that dry.

I'm a big fan of the original version and the biggest downside for me is the consistency. It's not as grainy or harsh as the original. However, when I received this product, it was liquid as it had melted from exposure to the sun. I froze it until thickened. but now it's very tacky and just doesn't feel as premium as the original version. Not sure if this is the products natural state or just because of their melting.
