Revlon 309972322104 Perfectweeze Slant Tip Review

Looks great when unpacked, I was hoping they would replace an old pair I've had for years but overall they don't fit me. The ends of the tweezers are thick, improperly angled, and rough-looking. I've tried plucking my brow several times and the thick ends of the tweezers literally won't pluck/pull out the smaller thin individual hairs around my brow. I even tried sanding the ends to smooth out the rough metal to see if that would help. No! Returns are more expensive than worth the hassle so…

*** NOT AS PICTURED *** After about 20 years my tweezers finally broke. I immediately went online to order new ones and was thrilled when I found them. I was in Spain when they broke and when I got home the package was already waiting for me. Upon opening I was shocked to discover that these were not the tweezers shown in the picture and which I have been using for years. The quality is terrible, I don't think they will last long. They also cut their hair instead of pulling it out. Terrible…

The old Revlon tweezers held up and worked great. Those that are now with markings on the metal - a bad imitation. They grab almost nothing. So disappointing. I don't know why they don't work as well as the old design, but they really aren't that good for eyebrow plucking. Revlon should go with a better designed product - even if it costs more, it's worth having something that works.

The first tweezers I bought when I was 14 to pluck my eyebrows were finger grip tweezers called the Twizzers. I had these twizzers for 20 years but ended up losing them when moving. I couldn't find them after that and used regular tweezers for the next 15 years until I found one again. I am now in my 50's and have arthritis in my hands which makes it difficult to grip the tweezers. Also, I find it difficult to find tweezers that grip firmly enough to remove those fine, tiny hairs that sprout on

Before using these tweezers, you must smooth the edges. It's very rough and will sting your skin (open the tweezers and gently run them across the inside of your wrist to see what I'm talking about). I used the stone I use to sharpen my knives. Of course, use the side that smooths the metal. Once I did that, my tweezers were ready to use. They do a good job of hair removal. 4 stars for the tips of the edges were very sharp before I smoothed them out.

Does not match the picture. The picture shows the one that was always sold by Revlon but they have replaced it with a lower one of a similar design which you will receive if you order this one. But it's just NOT THE SAME. And I'm disappointed because I could and could only get these new styles in a regular store. I looked for it online and ordered it online claiming to be an old style wearing mine.
