I only straighten my bangs with an iron, so I don't need a particularly strong iron. But for my simple needs this iron worked great.

I would not recommend this straightener for people with thick hair. It doesn't get very hot at all and doesn't work at all like I was hoping it would. We are African American with thick curly hair. I suppose this will work well on hair that hardly needs a touch up, but that's about it.

Revlon is a good reputable brand so I got this flat iron but it's terrible. I have moderately thick Caucasian hair so naturally I have to straighten my hair in sections. This rectifier isn't even capable of that. I compared this hair straightener to "If a dollar tree sells hair straighteners, they could be better than this one." Please save your money and don't choose this one.

This is a normal product, it does not dry out the hair as I expected. I have to run it through my hair too often to get the desired result.

I have been a long time fan of short curly hair and am very pleased with my first purchase of this Revlon hair straightener almost three years ago. It's VERY affordable, works GREAT and heats up very quickly in less than 10 seconds on the 30 setting (highest) for my medium to fine hair. I used to have problems with a set of hot curlers that took longer to heat up to get uneven curls. Now, with this second one as a backup in case it gets discontinued, I'm happy. Good product for size and price. Is there a dial that can be turned to adjust the temperature, works well on low temperature setting for human peak front. Feels cheap but good.

Regarding packaging and delivery, everything was fast and in perfect condition. However, it did a terrible job of straightening my fine, slightly wavy hair. It made my hair less voluminous and left my hair curly. I plan to return it as soon as possible.

It's very light and feels like cheap plastic I bought it because of the brand and the price was great but honestly although it heats up quickly when straightening my hair to getting a good result but slowly pulling each strand of hair which is frustrating. I usually color my hair quickly and go through it a few times. Not only can your hair get wavy after an hour (mine is a bit frizzy) but with a good flat iron your hair should stay straight unless it's the climate etc.
