I ordered a large one based on the many reviews and the size chart. I could probably order a medium, but I wanted to play it safe and wanted them to be a little baggy. They are baggy but I think they could be a little longer. You may need to remove the hem. I weigh 132 pounds, about 5 feet 7 1/2 inches. I bought this particular pair as shown in the photo, size S. 156037-Medium Was advertised 78% Cotton 20% Polyester 2% Spandex. I bought the small ones knowing the spandex would stretch them a bit. I'm 5ft 1in, 122lbs. Average size would be great for me even with shrinkage. Size S is perfect, albeit a little tight in the middle.
