Change to another item for a smoother finish. You can dilute your pain to the consistency of milk, pass through a fine-mesh sieve, and peel a few times, but it still randomly spits out. I wasn't expecting a glass finish but was hoping to get closer to a foam roller finish. Far away. Pooh! I had to sand it down and start over. Never again! We've read the manual, watched the tutorials and can't get this sprayer to spray in one consecutive burst. It will be good for about 2 seconds and then stop spraying. I couldn't even paint for 5 minutes without taking it apart and doing another deep clean. During spraying, the paint continued to clog the nozzle, leaving jagged patterns on the wall. Before use, the paint was filtered and then diluted with water to the desired density to make it easier to spread, but that was always not enough. I ended up throwing the product away because it was so clogged from my last use that it couldn't spray paint.

My Rexbeti gun stopped applying paint after a few dozen hours of use (not much) and stopped working. I've had some success with this, *and* diluting the paint and carefully cleaning it after each use. Unfortunately, you really do need to constantly monitor the tip - I used one of the larger diameter tips - to see when it's starting to clog.
