There was no difference in my connection

Added to NETGEAR 4G LTE Broadband Modem (LB1120) with SMA Female and TS9 Male to RF Coaxial Connector/Adaptor. No difference for my setup. My signal stayed at two bars with and without the antenna.

No difference in signal

I installed them on my AT&T LTE modem and they haven't changed. The signal level is still around 1-2 bars (-110-115 dBm). This model may not support an external antenna, but there are definitely ports for it. So it's not clear if the problem is with the modem or with this product.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Need SMA antennas for LTE connection, works!

I couldn't find the included SMA antennas that came with my FortiExtenrder and Fortigate LTE so I bought them and they work great. I used to use a straightened paper clip (not recommended) which got the job done. They're not white like hardware, but I like offset colors.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Functionality

When something looks too good to be true.

.probably like this. I've read other reviews about the underperformance of these antennas, but I just wanted to rate it myself. Previous reviews are true for me. It cannot be 9dBi because the signal strength is reduced by the installation. Thank goodness for Prime and easy returns. You will be back very soon.

Pros
  • holding my fists
Cons
  • fading

Maybe better than nothing.

You can't offer 9 dBi gain. I've noticed almost identical antennas here and on eBay with ratings ranging from 2dBi to 15dBi. I'd say maybe 3dBi is generous on a good day - it doesn't double the signal strength that 3dBi is supposed to do. But 9dBi. no way! Maybe for a specific group. but what? I salute the FCC for allowing you to pick any number without telling you how or why you picked it.

  • Great design

No improvement for AT&T 4G WiFi Internet Router

I have an AT&T Home Base 4G LTE WiFi WiFi Internet Router - model MF279. Before installing these antennas I got 2 strips out of 4. After installation, my signal dropped to 0-1 bar. I've moved the unit around the house and even plugged it in outside to test the extra antenna and they reduced the signal in all conditions. They should be compatible with this 4G router but they are not.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Receiver gain to cellular modem not increased

in the antenna board, which is exactly the opposite of what is intended. I haven't attempted to further diagnose the cause, but a properly working, proper design should have increased the signal strength by at least a few dB. Given the low cost of these antennas my expectations were not high but I am returning them as they make matters worse.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Could damage

Reduced speed indeed

We live in an area with very poor cell service where the only other options are 128 Kbps Frontier DSL (advertised as 1 Mbps) and the slow and limited Hughes satellite service (10 Mbps ) are. /s on a Hello with a monthly limit of 20 GB). The Netgear Orbi 4G LTE modem/router does get a usable signal when I place it in the right spot and orientation in the upstairs bedroom window (déjà vu from Lisa Bundy's viewing positions), but upload speeds are still pretty slow (5-15Mbps ). I installed these…
