These pads didn't get rid of the smell in the van toilets. I have found another product that works much better than this brand.

Does not work as advertised. The smell persisted even though we followed the tank cleaning instructions prior to using the RidX. It didn't work at all. Easy to use but not effective at controlling odor.

I am satisfied with this product, I have been using CampaChem for many years and suddenly it is no longer available. I have tried other Thetford products with great disgust but this stuff works great. I'm a truck driver and have a small 5 gallon pot on my truck so the smell makes a big difference.

RidX has always been my choice for our ranch septic tank. When we retired to our RV we tried so many tank accessories and none of them seemed to do what they said they would. Then we found RidX for RVs. Since the switch, maintaining our tanks has become a lot easier.

I have been using Ridex in my motorhome for over 20 years. I used the original Ridex "before" in my storage tanks on my 41ft RV - just a full cap for a 40 gallon tank. It took over 10 days! It eliminated the odor and the bacteria took care of ANY solids. I was pleasantly surprised to see Ridex launching an RV formula and I still use the product (despite some skeptics).

This product smells good. However, it does not break easily. If you use it in a portable toilet, throw a bag and add water, it still smells awful, so clean the toilet and then add 2 bags, there will still be a bad smell. Cleaned again before opening the lever, added 1 sachet plus water and waited for it to open but it didn't, even after about 5 minutes.
