The volume buttons on our original device stopped working. We had to press them for 3-10 seconds before they made the change we wanted. So. got this new remote control and viola! Watching TV or listening to music is no longer a nuisance, at least with the remote control.

The volume and enter keys were almost unresponsive. At first I thought it was the batteries, but then I read that other people say certain keys become unresponsive over time. So far, the new one works very well and reacts quickly to inputs. The only thing is that it doesn't say Sony or AV-System.

This replacement remote works significantly better than the original soundbar remote. We no longer have to press the buttons multiple times to increase or decrease the volume, or even better, turn the soundbar on or off. With this interchangeable device, there's a lot less swearing in front of the TV.

I never knew remote controls could fail. Well I found out they can do that with my old remote. Shortly after receiving my soundbar, the "mute" button on the remote stopped working. For the past 6-9 months I've had to move the control panel to get the remote to do its job. I had no idea the problem was with the remote control and NOT the control panel location. This new remote has solved ALL of these problems. The pole can be stationary but the remote control works great! And now I have the mute

This new remote control is a great replacement for my previous one. I like the feel and the new look. The volume of my Sony Soundbar was automatically increased. I decided to buy a new remote control instead of replacing the soundbar. Glad you did! It was a simple and inexpensive solution.
