Ease of Use - Air Conditioning Tools & Equipment

Same as market sensors. Easy to use and accurate. Repairable, durable and reliable. I've been repairing cars for over 50 years, these are the best sensors for professional or DIY repairs.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Question about brand Robinair

Not the best quality but better than most junk on sale now. I used to have sensors that worked for years, but now you're lucky if they last a year. I've had this set for over a year now and it's still working. Most hoses are short lived. Robin Air has a solid reputation in the air conditioning industry.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Useless features

They are suitable for casual use, but not suitable for use in the store. The sensors are made of plastic and are not very durable. Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Needless to say I lost some coolant when I plugged it in. I guess I should have researched everything a little more carefully before using them. Although I'm a bit confused by the plastic housings of pressure gauges. You would think Robinair would make them out of cheap metal or something other than…

Should have come with Harbor Freight

I bought this because I thought it would be a better quality product than the much cheaper Harbor Freight. The joke was mine. The sensors are cheap looking plastic. The first time I used it, the red plastic handle broke. How does the handle break when you twist your hand? Bad design is the only guess I have. Ironically, this is one of the main reasons I chose it over the HF as it was a common complaint about this model. The second time I used it, the low-pressure terminal at the port leaked and
