Adjusting Miter Track Fit: Use a 7/64" hex wrench (not included) to advance the nylon set screws in the Rockler 45 degree miter sled bar until you achieve a smooth, no-slop fit in your saw’s miter track. Standard Slot: Through slots in the base allow you to securely clamp moldings at table level. This table saw miter sled fits standard 3/8" x 3/4" miter slots. great for 3/4 miter slot, won't fit my old 8 " craftsman 5/8 miter slot

I bought the slide knowing it wouldn't fit in my 8 inch craftsman fits 5/8 miter slot. I decided that I would make it part of the big sled. Fits my father-in-law's 10" table saw with a 3/4" slot, so happy birthday.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

The fit of the table slot is adjustable :-)

I've seen several reviews criticizing the design for hooking into the guide slot, but this is offset by the use of two nylon grub screws compensated with a small Allen key. Just spin them until you like them - easy! It's a no frills device and does what it's supposed to do.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Does what it says on the tin easier than resetting the angle sensor.

The carriage cuts corners well, and with the help of "fence clips" it is quite easy to lengthen the fence. I removed the sprocket because the nylon set screws that allow it to fit snugly in the corner slot are unstable. Every time I use it I have to reinstall one or both screws. And I still haven't figured out exactly how to stop it. I might try Loctite or something.

Works well, requires tuning

Works great for 45 degree cuts with a table saw, but will need to be adapted to your saw. Corner groove adjustment screws are not very convenient and do not hold their position well. I ended up taking mine off and simply taped strips of aluminum tape to the angled guide to fit perfectly in the angled slot on my table saw. Also, 45 degree fences are very smooth. I sanded mine lightly with 400 grit sandpaper and then sprayed 400 grit sandpaper on top to make it less smooth. It took me 10 minutes…

Identification on box or slide with nylon pins

Would be nice if there were hints/instructions --- It took me a few minutes to figure out where the pre-installed adjustable nylon pins are. And when I did, I didn't have the right Allen key. One of these should have been provided or at least the description of Revain or on the packaging itself should have provided this information. It's bad enough when we're buying stuff for our kids and have to get over "assembly required," but at least they tell you what to assemble. Still, I used it a…

  • Absolutely amazing!
